Rock legend Peter Frampton, in particular his hit live album Frampton Comes Alive!, has occasionally been referenced in the Homestar Runner universe. Strong Bad is typically the one to mention him.
Appearances
- Strong Bad Main Page — Upon moving the cursor over the "characters" button, a clip from "Do You Feel Like We Do" plays on the stereo. Strong Bad comments, "Oh, check it out, this guy's guitar is totally talking!", a reference to Frampton's famous use of a talk box to "vocalize" guitar playing into singing and speech.

- The page title reads "Frampton's Camel", the name of Frampton's second album as well as his backing band.

- The Best Decemberween Ever — One item among the "crazy crap" that Homestar Runner rummages through in Bubs' Concession Stand is a copy of Frampton Comes Alive! autographed to Strong Bad.

- 24 Aug 2019 — Brainstorming the potential for the then-unproduced vinyl release of Strong Bad Sings And Other Type Hits, one idea Strong Bad shares is a "Double LP gatefold with Frampton Comes Alive style pinup of me?", referencing how the front and back cover of Frampton Comes Alive! formed a portrait of Frampton onstage.
- 2 Dec 2019 — A worn-out copy of Everything Else, Volume 2 reminds Strong Bad of his "cool and vintage" copy of Frampton Comes Alive!.
