Tycho is a main character from the ''Penny Arcade'' comic, alter ego of co-creator Jerry Holkins.

Tycho's first official interaction with [[Homestar Runner (body of work)|Homestar Runner]] was in the Telltale crossover game ''Poker Night at the Inventory'', featuring Tycho and Strong Bad among the participants of a poker tournament at an exclusive club called The Inventory.

An earlier version of Tycho's ''Poker Night'' model had been shown at [[Make a Scene with Telltale at PAX 2010]], an interactive panel hosted by Telltale Games that allowed attendees to write and voice a dramatic scene as a demonstration of the Telltale Tool game engine. In this scene, Tycho and [[Marzipan]] are murder suspects.
