[[The Brothers Chaps]] have [[NYU Talk - 1 Mar 2005|acknowledged their cousin Dan]] as a comedic influence. After [[Matt Chapman]] was [[Club Aquatica Interview - 29 Oct 2003|interviewed]] by [[mile|Dan from Carmel, Indiana]] in late 2003, the use of "Dan" became more prolific.
